The Field of Electronics and Communication is one of the rapidly developing branches in Engineering. This department has a dedicated, talented, well Qualified and experienced team as teaching faculty. With the guidance of teaching faculty, our students have under gone implant training in various public and private sectors. ECE department prepares the student to pursue leadership, technical and management positions in variety of industries. Our faculty members have participated in various workshops, seminars and symposium held in various institutions and presented technical papers in various national level and international level conferences. The students are encouraged to present papers in national level technical symposium conducted by the various Engineering colleges in and around Tamil Nadu and students have won prizes and bring Lorals to our Institute.

The crown of Pearl City is University VOC College of Engineering, from the establishment of the college in the Year 2009; the department of ECE is one of the most offering courses. This department is fully furnished in all aspects including highly experienced and motivated faculties and non teaching staff. The department serves 240 students and are trained to undergo various training and strived to do project using many labs equipped with high precision instruments and cutting edge technology. This department has good reputation and status in and around the Pearl City. To survive in the real world from the industry point of view, students are given special training in aptitude, problem solving and group discussion etc in the specially allocated hours in every week. Department Placement coordinator and faculty advisors are allocated for each class to motivate the student and counsel the week student. With their whole hearted effort our student are placed in well reputed companies. The performance of our alumini across the world helps our department to reach the reputation outside the campus.
